What kinds of training does CEF offer?

Childrens Ministries Institute® (CMI) or Leadership Training Institute (LTI)

CMI or LTI provides a thorough foundation and ongoing education for those involved at every level of children's ministry. Practical instruction is given for ministering directly to children, training adults to teach children and administrating a children's work.

The unique curriculum is structured in modules for a total of twelve weeks enabling many people to attend CMI for concentrated short-term study. In the Asia Pacific Region ...

  1. the fist module is focused on reaching children,
  2. the second on training others to teach children, and
  3. the third module is administration classes.

Teaching Children EffectivelyTM (TCETM)

  1. TCETM Level 1 - Evangelizing and Teaching Today's Child

    An innovative 30-hour course designed to equip local church members with a fresh approach to evangelizing and teaching today's child. Based on spiritual and educational principles, the course provides practical methods and procedures to lead children to Christ and immediately begin a ministry where they live.

  2. TCETM Level 2 - Discipling the Christian Child

    This 30-hour course is designed to help you disciple the Christian child. Insights are given on how to guide the child in a systematic process of spiritual growth within the home, the church family and the neighborhood.

Local Teacher Training Classes

Ongoing, practical training in convenient locations for those involved in evangelizing and discipling children.


Christian Youth In Action®

Young people from local churches are trained to reach children with the Gospel in 5-Day Clubs, camps and personal witnessing.
