Our Ministry: Groundwork was done by Miss Lingi Pele who faithfully carried on a ministry as a school teacher and teaching Bible in schools. Although many years have passed, (some 20) Lingi still carries on her ministry in the schools.

In 1993 Thess Llorente, missionary from CEF Philippines joined Lingi who was instrumental in helping Thess get started. Teacher Training Classes soon began and a National Committee was formed. The first CMI was held in 1998 which was instrumental in promoting the work in and around Tonga and produced one local full time worker.
