Two special classes met in the Philippines at the end of year, 2006. The first nine weeks (phase 1 & 2) of the Leadership Training Institute (LTI) had 18 graduates, with seven finishing phase 3. They were CEF staff serving in the field who came for the last three weeks, and graduated with their diploma. The Lord be praised that more workers are being trained to reach the millions of Filipino children.

Likewise, there was an Institute in Korea which finished last November. While there, I had the privilege and joy to go to Jeju Island to be with the CEF workers there, noting the more 100 GNCs in the Island. These GNC teachers are being equipped through the teacher training class which meets every Monday.

Praise God, too, for an Institute in Myanmar which finished in December. There were 13 graduates. In all, we had 37 new graduates from the 12-week Institutes held late last year.

Meanwhile, a Preschool course was held in Singapore. We had the privilege to share the gospel in two Preschools with 97 children, six of whom received the Lord Jesus.

Beginning of this year found the staff of Indonesia conducting an Instructor Of Teachers (IOT) 1 Course. There were nine students. Six staff were Leadership Training Instructor Candidates. Venue was the Oasis Center, the CEF center where Rev Kang from Korea is the Director. It is a nice, quiet, peaceful place surrounded by rice fields.

From there I went to Cambodia where we held the preschool course for 18 of the 20 CEF staff. What joy to go out and teach the children. Ten little ones received Jesus as their Savior. After this course, ten of the staff were students again, this time for an IOT 2. Praise the Lord that these young people on staff are learning to teach adults and reach the children.

With these training courses in the region, a great multiplication is going on. More and more children have the opportunity to hear about Jesus and coming to know Him as their personal Savior and Lord!
