Training Updates Jan-Mar 2005
       in the Region

Since the National Directors' meetings and the Regional Conference, there had been special training in three countries.

Korea had their 12 weeks Institute with 16 students attending at the National Office. Five of these students will be full time staff and eight will be part time workers. Praise the Lord for all of the workers being raised up in Korea.

After which there were several special trainings in Tonga.

  1. First, was a Teaching Children EffectivelyTM 1 (TCETM) with four students who received their certificates at a nice closing program.

The results were wonderful. You could see one of the young men changing spiritually as he attended and began to teach the children. His burden was evident. A total of 44 children were enrolled and 27 were counseled for salvation in the clubs they conducted. During the open air, the students reached 13 children who received the Lord Jesus. Praise the Lord for how He used these four students.

  2. After the Club week, we had IOT 1 for three students to prepare them to be Instructors of Teachers. Next April these students will be teaching their first TCE.

  3. After that was the Christian Youth In Action® (CYIATM) for seven young people who gave up their summer holiday to teach the children. How wonderful to watch the Lord working in the lives of these young people as they were being trained to be summer missionaries.

New year began with many TCE classes around the region as students from Institutes will be doing their teaching under supervision. This will include Myanmar, Indonesia, Singapore and Tonga. What a joy to work with each one in the region and see more people trained and more children reached.
